Submit assignment through SafeAssign

Instructors can use SafeAssign to check submitted assignments for potential plagiarism. SafeAssign compares your submitted assignments against other writings such as published articles, student papers, and Internet content to identify areas of overlap between the submitted assignment and existing works.

1. Locate your assignment in your course and click on the title of your assignment. (The assignment icon looks like a paper with a pencil and ruler.)

2. Complete the assignment.

2.1. If you would like to type in the assignment manually, click Write Submission and enter the text for your submission.

2.2. If you would like to upload a file for the assignment, click "Browse My Computer" and attach the file.

2.3. Optional: Check the box next to "I agree to submit my paper(s) to the Global Reference Database" to enable SafeAssign's detection tool.

2.4. OPTIONAL: Add any additional comments for your instructor in the Comments text box.

3. Click Submit at the top or bottom right of the page.

4. A notification confirms that your assignment is complete. Review your paper, and click OK at the bottom right corner of the page.
