Record your screen using the Java based Screen Recording
1. Log into Blackboard, locate the My Media module, and click My Media.
2. Click the down arrow to the right of Add New and select Screen Recording.
3. Click on "Launch the Screen Recorder" to open the Screen Recorder application.
4. If a message appears to run Screen Recorder for Kaltura, click Run.
NOTE: If the pop-up does not show up, make sure that your plug ins are activated for the page.
5. Once the dotted-line border appears on your screen, return to your presentation and click the red circle to begin recording.
5.1. Move the screen by positioning your pointer in the middle of the window and dragging it.
5.2. Resize the recording area by dragging the small boxes on the sides of the frame.
6. Once you are finished recording your presentation, click on the Done button. A new window will appear for you to review your work.
7. Enter a title for your work, and click Upload.
8. When the upload is complete, click Close.
9. Back in Blackboard, you may modify the name of your presentation and enter a description for your recording. Click Save when you are done.
10. To view your video in Blackboard, go to your Blackboard homepage and then click on My Media in the My Media module again.
11. Your presentation appears in the list under My Media.
